Coming soon: DC Launch Night

FAQ

Good questions.

Everything about the app, our nights out, and partnering with VenueVibe App.

The app

What is VenueVibe App?

VenueVibe App is a dating app built around real places. When you're out, you check in at the venue with a quick live selfie, see the other singles checked in at the same spot, and start a conversation in the app. Then you can walk over and say hi.

How do I get it?

Download VenueVibe from Google Play, and the App Store is coming soon. Google Play availability is currently limited to the United States. Existing members can also sign in through the website.

How does checking in work?

When you arrive somewhere, you check in with a quick live selfie taken at the venue. That check-in is what puts you on the grid for that venue, so the other singles checked in there can see you're around.

Can people send me photos?

No. Messaging in VenueVibe App is text only, so there are no unsolicited images.

How old do I need to be?

You must be 18 or older to use the VenueVibe App. Our events are 21+ with a valid ID.

Does it cost anything?

You can start for free. The plans, including what's free and what's paid, are on the Get the app page, and you'll always see the price in the app before you pay. You can cancel a subscription anytime from your account settings.

Events

Who can come to VenueVibe App events?

Everyone 21 and over with a valid ID. Our nights are made for singles, and entry is open to everyone 21+ on the same terms.

When is the DC launch night?

Our DC launch night comes once VenueVibe App is in the App Store and Google Play. The date, the partner venue, and the RSVP link will follow. Join the launch list and you'll hear first.

Do I have to use the app to come?

No. The app makes the night more fun, because you can check in and see who else is there, but the door is open to everyone 21+ with a valid ID.

Will there be filming?

Sometimes. We may film at events for VenueVibe App's social channels and a short recap of the night, and we post a notice at the door when we do. Just tell the crew if you'd rather not be on camera.

Venues, DJs, and creators

I run a bar or lounge. How do we partner?

Tell us about your venue on the For venues page. We'll follow up to talk through dates, promotion, and what would work for your room. Nothing is agreed until both sides sign a short partnership outline, and your venue always runs its own door, bar, and staff.

How does the promoter program work?

Approved DJs, promoters, and creators get a personal Promoter ID to share. You earn a commission on qualifying subscribers you refer, under VenueVibe App's Promoter Agreement. Every post about VenueVibe App must clearly disclose the relationship.

Privacy and safety

Do I have to keep my location on?

VenueVibe App uses your location to find the venue you're at when you check in. Once you've checked in, you can turn location access off and keep messaging. You can change location permission in your phone's settings at any time.

How do I report someone or get help?

You can report a member in the app, or email safety@venuevibeapp.com. Our Safety and Reporting page explains how reports are handled.

What happens to the details I give this website?

We use them to send the updates you asked for and to follow up on partnership requests. We don't sell your information. The website privacy notice has the details, and the app has its own privacy policy.

Still wondering?

Send us a message and we'll get back to you.
